BODY COMPOSITION BY IMPEDANCE, IMPORTANCE FOR HEALTH AND SPORT:

Bioimpedance is a non-invasive and safe method that measures body composition (fat, muscle, water) by sending a low-intensity electrical current through the body and analyzing the resistance offered by the tissues, since fat conducts electricity poorly and muscle (rich in water) conducts it well, allowing a detailed evaluation of the health and nutrition of the individual,  Nowadays this test provides essential information for the high-performance athlete.

In sport it is a key tool to measure the evolution of the aforementioned body parameters during each stage of preparation and in this way optimize sports performance, allowing training and diets to be customized for specific objectives (fat loss vs. muscle gain). It helps control hydration, prevent overtraining, and offers accurate data on muscularity, adiposity and hydration.
